About the Author

Dr Sadhu Singh :-
He is Former Director (Colleges) Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Before that he was Professor and Head, Mechanical Engineering Department and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand). He has published more than 50 research papers in national and international journals of repute. He is B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering with Hons.) from Punjab University, Chandigarh; M.Sc. (Mechanical Design and Production Engineering) and Ph.D. from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
His teaching experience spans 15 years at Reginal Engineering College (now NIT), Kurukshetra and 19 Years at Pantnagar University. He is the author of many textbooks on Mechanical Engineering.
