P N Basu :- P N Basu graduated from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in Electrical Engineering. He obtained MTech in Computer Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and PhD (Engineering) from Jadavpur University. He has rich Industrial experience of over 30 years in Computer Operations, Installation, Maintenance, Project Management, Computer Education and training in reputed organizations. At present, he is working as a professor in the School of Education Technology, Jadavpur University. His academic and technological interests are in the areas of Courseware Engineering, Education Technology and Digital Distance Education. He is actively involved in teaching Advanced Computer Architecture and Organization, Computer Languages, Software Systems Development, Education Technology and Quality Assurance in technology-enabled teaching and learning.
