Former H.O.D, Research Dept., of Economics) Sri Sarada College for Women, Salem, Tamil Nadu. She has got 35 years of teaching experience in Sri Sarada College for Women. She has published 9 books including one in Hindi and one in Tamil. She has produced two doctorates and twenty M. Phil scholars. She has chaired many International and National Conferences. Her contribution to edited books is many and varied. She has contributed number of articles to International, National and Regional level conferences and seminars. She is the recipient of Senior Economist Award. Now she is working as the Controller of Examination in Sri Sarada College for Women, Salem, Tamil Nadu.

K Pushpavalli and P Subasree :-
They are currently working as Associate Professions of Economics, Sri Sarada College for Women, Salem, Tamil Nadu. They have put in 16 years of service each and enthusiastically indulging in research work by guiding scholars leading to M. Phil and Ph.D. they have to their credit many research papers published in reputed journals, edited books and two minor research projects. Contribution to this book is a maiden attempt made by them.
