About the Author

A S Vasudeva :-
The author did his M.Sc. (Physics) from Panjabi University Patiala in 1967 with Nuclear Physics as special paper. There after he joined Khalsa College, Patiala as lecturer in Physics. In 1969, joined GND Engineering College, Ludhiana. He rose to the level of Head of Deptt., Applied Sciences and taught Undergraduate and Postgraduate level engineering students. In between he joined Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1978 as teacher fellow and worked on Cyclotron for his research degree which he successfully completed 1981. He has attended innumerable conferences/ seminars/summer/winter schools at the various prestigious institutes including IIT's and I.I.Sc. Bangalore.
In 2004, he took up the assignment of Professor and Head Deptt. of Physics, RIEIT Rail Majra, Distt. Nawanshahar. After completing the assignment tenure of five years, he joined as Professor and Deptt. Head of Physics, BBSB Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, in 2009.
The author has to his credit more than a dozen standard textbooks which are prescribed in various ';National and International Universities' for both UG and PG Studies.
